Students will have one final opportunity to collect their Dell laptop computers before the start of school
Washington Township middle school students, high school freshmen and new students to WTHS who have yet to receive their Dell laptop computers will have one final opportunity to collect them at their assigned school prior to the start of the 2017–18 school year.
Members of the district technology staff will be on hand to accept forms and optional insurance payments, and to review important information related to the initiative at the following locations:
Monday, Aug. 21: 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Orchard Valley Middle School
Tuesday, Aug. 22: 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Bunker Hill Middle School
Wednesday, Aug. 23: 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Chestnut Ridge Middle School
Thursday, Aug. 24: 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Washington Township High School
After these dates, any student who has not received his or her laptop will be assigned one on the first day of school — Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Students and parents are encouraged to reference a series of documents related to the laptop initiative, including tips for care and the expectation of digital citizenship, that are posted on the front page of the district website, www.wtps.org.
