NJ Transit’s Atlantic City Rail Line will not operate between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia for about two weeks as repairs are made to an elevated rail crossing nearby in Pennsauken.
Last week, a garbage container truck struck the rail crossing over River Road in Pennsauken, necessitating repairs. Rail service between Philadelphia and Cherry Hill has been suspended since the accident and will remain suspended until repairs are completed.
NJ Transit is currently operating substitute bus service between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. In addition, PATCO, the River Line light rail and all South Jersey bus routes are cross-honoring Atlantic City Rail Line tickets and passes until repairs are completed.
