Colonial Square Shopping Center redevelopment plan adopted by Committee

Colonial Square Shopping Center and nearby properties are expected to be redeveloped after discussion at the July 17 Cinnaminson Committee meeting. The future redevelopment has been in the plans for Cinnaminson Mayor Anthony Minniti, who is also in charge of economic development in the town. “We have been looking at this area since 2007–08, after we did reconstruction of the five points intersection,” Minniti said.

Cinnaminson nurses honored and recognized by Kennedy Health

Kennedy Health proudly announced its Associates of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2017 and fourth quarter of 2016. Diane Holba and Joan Durham of Cinnaminson were chosen as winners in the first quarter of 2017. Holba is a registered nurse in the step-down unit at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, while Durham is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit.

‘Paint the Town Pink’ Breast Cancer Awareness by C.F.D.

The Cinnaminson Fire Department Breast Cancer Awareness Committee is pleased to announce this year’s “Paint the Town Pink” campaign. 2017 marks the seventh year that their department will be raising funds and awareness for breast cancer. Last year was their most successful year, raising $8,600. This year, their goal is to raise at least $10,000.

Teen Author Skype Series at Cinnaminson Public Library

Have you ever wanted to talk with a successful author about their work? This is your chance! Join the Cinnaminson Public Library at 7:15 p.m. on Aug 8 for a talk with young adult author, Kendare Blake. The library will be giving away 10 free copies of Blake’s novel, “Three Dark Crowns”, to ensure a engrossing back-and-forth with the author. Make sure to ask your librarian about a copy a few weeks before the program.
