Medford School District Business Administrator Marie Goodwin will sworn in as the Medford Sunrise Rotary Club’s newest member later this month.
When Dr. Joe Del Rossi, superintendent of the Medford School District, was invited to speak at the Medford Sunrise Rotary Club meeting on June 28, he invited Goodwin, the district’s business administrator, to join him. Goodwin enjoyed the experience so much that she opted to join the Rotary.
Dr. Del Rossi and Goodwin gave an update on several issues facing the Medford K-8 system, including educational program upgrades, security and safety measures, technology in the classrooms, playing fields, facilities and transportation. “I feel our future looks very bright,” Del Rossi said to the Rotarians. “I’m very proud to be superintendent of the Medford Schools.”
The Medford Sunrise Rotary meets every Wednesday morning at 7:15 at the Pop Shop in downtown Medford. Newcomers are welcome.
