From rising ocean levels to scorching temperatures to the increase in extreme weather events, climate change has wreaked havoc across societies all over the world. This is well publicised. But what you may not know is how climate change is affecting the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
Ryan Rebozo, director of conservation science at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, says there’s two main factors: The Rise of the Southern Pine Beetle and decline of the Atlantic White Cedar tree.

Tabernacle resident and artist Sandy Sandy will showcase a career’s worth of her art at the Medford Art Center from Aug. 15 to Sept. 15.
Sandy, a declared artist since she started giving art lessons out of her parents’ garage at age 13, plans to fill the entire MAC — upstairs, downstairs and along all the hallways — with art she’s created over the course of her career as a fine artist.

Burlington County Surrogate Mary Ann O’Brien announced today that beginning Monday, July 3rd the Surrogate’s Office, formerly housed at the County Complex located at 49 Rancocas Road in Mt. Holly, will be permanently relocated directly across the street at 50 Rancocas Road on the first floor.
