Resident announces candidacy for Evesham Board of Education seat in November

Resident Ben Roberson submitted the following release on his candidacy.

The following information was submitted by Evesham Board of Education candidate and resident Ben Roberson:

On June 23, Marlton resident Ben Roberson filed his petition to run for the Evesham Township School District Board of Education with the Burlington County Clerk’s Office.

He is an Air Force veteran and current member of the Air National Guard who has two children currently in the district schools.

Roberson has over 20 years of leadership experience in military and governmental organizations.

After filing his petition, he released the following statement:

“It is time we take the politics out of the School Board and get back to providing the best education for our children,” Roberson said. “The current political atmosphere has become an embarrassment to all who live in the district and the time for new leadership has arrived.”

Ben has resided with his family in Marlton since leaving the Air Force in 2011 and purchasing a home in the community.

The election for the Evesham Township School District will take place on Nov. 7, for three seats set for full, three-year terms.
