Willowdale Swim Club’s CHAP Volleyball League team is off to a good start in the 2017 season.
Willowdale sits in first place with a record of 10–2 after going 5–1 during this past week. Willowdale defeated Charleston, 2–1, on Monday, and then swept past Cherry Valley A, 3–0, on Thursday.
Old Orchard Red falls to second place after defeating Cherry Valley B, 2–1, on Monday. Woodcrest jumped into third place after a 3–0 win over Woodstream on Monday. Woodcrest’s record is now 6–3.
In other action from this past week, Kingston got its first two wins of the season, 2–1, over Old Orchard White. Cherry Valley defeated Fox Hollow, 2–1, on Monday. Woodstream recovered from its Monday loss to Woodcrest with a 2–1 win over Wexford Leas on Thursday.
