Lenape Regional High School District BOE approves four-year contracts for teachers and other staff
The Lenape Regional High School District (LRHSD) Board of Education unanimously approved a four-year employment contract with the Lenape District Education Association (LDEA) this week. The LDEA represents approximately 850 teachers and other staff. The district also approved a four-year employment contract with the Lenape District Support Staff Association (LDSSA). The LDSSA represents the district’s bus drivers and custodians.
Summer concerts return to Mt. Laurel starting July 6
It’s officially summertime in Mt. Laurel, and once again this year residents will have plenty of ways to keep entertained and beat the heat. Mt. Laurel Township and the Mt. Laurel Library are once again joining forces to sponsor a series of free summer concerts through July and into August where residents can kick back and enjoy live music.
Man reports assault by three men at home, small safe stolen in latest Mt. Laurel Police Report

At 3:15 a.m. on June 15, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the report of a past tense robbery on the 100 block of Willow Turn. According to police, an 18-year-old male victim reported that an acquaintance came over to his residence to repay money that was owed to him. Police say the victim reports being immediately assaulted by three men. Read more and other reports.
Woman living in Mount Laurel convicted of third-degree arson at Washington Township condominium
Cheryl Satoris, 57, a former resident of a Washington Township condominium building heavily damaged in a 2011 fire, was convicted in a retrial last week of third-degree arson by a jury that determined she caused the fire that left her and seven other residents of the Windsor Court units homeless. Superior Court Judge Kevin T. Smith scheduled a Sept. 29 sentencing for Satoris, who is free on bail and living in Mt. Laurel.
