Victoria Slaven (Bialecki) of Voorhees was among the 257 graduates awarded a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine at the college’s 126th commencement. The ceremony was held at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, June 3. Slaven is the daughter of Frank and Tina Bialecki of Ruther Glen, Va. She earned a bachelor’s of science degree in neuroscience from Dickinson College in 2010 and a master’s degree in biomedical science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey — School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. Slaven is continuing her medical training in internal medicine at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lititz, Pa.
William Mitzel of Voorhees earned a bachelor’s degree from Wells College. Mitzel majored in environmental science.
The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students during the institute’s 253rd commencement exercises on May 5–6. Joshua Gomberg of Voorhees earned a master’s of science degree in statistics. Jaymin Patel of Voorhees earned a master’s of science degree in chemical engineering.
Rachel Hark of Voorhees is on the spring dean’s list at Hofstra University.
Mathew Costa of Voorhees graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s of science degree in mathematics/physics from Albright College on May 21.
