Veterans invited to participate in Moorestown Fourth of July parade

If you did time in a combat zone or didn’t, war time or peace time, it makes no difference to the committee.

The Moorestown Fourth of July parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4 at noon. The Parade Committee wishes to invite the military veterans of Moorestown to participate in this celebration of our freedom.

The committee feels that the crowd will respond wonderfully to seeing a float and/or marching contingent of those heroes who guaranteed that freedom. It shows ‘team spirit’ as well as giving the spectators a sense that the veterans “get it” in terms of “Moorestown First,” according to the committee.

If you did time in a combat zone or didn’t, war time or peace time, it makes no difference to the committee.

Assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester Avenues. Please arrive early enough to be counted and receive your place in the line-up. Also, please wear something that marks your veteran status such as a military ball cap.

Please contact Gene Clark at (856) 722–0294 or [email protected] for details.
