Short Hills Restaurant and Deli feeding customers again

For more than 10 months, Short Hills Restaurant and Deli had no customers entering its doors. The restaurant had to be re-built after suffering damage from a July 2016 fire. Though the eatery was closed for a long period of time, local residents did not forget about it. Community support was key during the rebuilding process and customers were rewarded for their patience when the deli re-opened on June 2.

Fleisher, Jacobs, Roskoph, Doshi victorious in Cherry Hill Council Democratic Primary

Three incumbents and one newcomer running under the Cherry Hill Democratic Committee ticket were victorious in a contested Cherry Hill Township Council Democratic primary election on Tuesday. David Fleisher, Carolyn Jacobs, Carole Roskoph and Sangeeta Doshi won the primary election over Progressive Democrats for Cherry Hill opponents Joshua Hare, Patricia Magnus, Mark Gulbranson and Scott Soffen.

Cherry Hill school district wants people talking about Cherry Hill 2020, upcoming bond referendum

Cherry Hill school officials will be hard at work this summer on Cherry Hill Public Schools 2020 and plans for a September 2018 bond referendum. Part of this work will include putting together a communications plan. The district is looking at a number of ways to get the community’s input and inform them of the district’s plan over the next year.

Five Cherry Hill East girls track juniors advance to NJSIAA Meet of Champions

Cherry Hill East girls track and field made some noise at the NJSIAA Group IV state championship meet. Five juniors went on to qualify for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, held yesterday at Northern Burlington Regional High School. The team also finished the season with a record of 2–2 and saw a number of school records broken multiple times over the course of the year.
