Resurfacing work to being on Hainesport-Mt Laurel Road and Greentree Road in Evesham and Mt. Laurel

Work is anticipated to begin on June 12 and will be completed in two phases. Motorists using the roadway may experience delay.

Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio has announced that resurfacing of a 1.3 mile portion of Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road/Greentree Road in Mount Laurel and Evesham Townships is expected to begin on June 12. The project will be completed in two stages.

Garganio said the first stage of the project involves pavement milling and overlay of Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road/ Greentree Road from Academy Drive in Mt. Laurel to Maple Avenue in Evesham. He said the work is expected to take about a week to complete and this work will be performed during nighttime hours.

According to Garganio, the second stage of the project involves pavement milling and overlay of Greentree Road from Maple Avenue to Lincoln Drive East in Evesham. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete and this work will be performed during daytime hours.

He also said traffic will be maintained during milling and paving operation. Motorists using the roadway may experience delay and are recommended to find alternative routes during the work.

According to the county, the work is being done by American Asphalt Co., Inc., West Collingswood, New Jersey, as part of the county’s 2015 State Funded Overlay Program. A total 26 miles of roadway in 12 municipalities are being resurfaced through shared state and county funding.
