Gloucester County Community Church will celebrate Father’s Day featuring a special message by Associated Press Sports Writer Rob Maaddi on Saturday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 18 at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. There will be a free gift for every man present, as well as special Father’s Day recognition gifts.

Since 2000, Maaddi covered the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals and numerous other major sporting events throughout his career. Maaddi has co-authored three children’s sports books and has written a biography on Mike Schmidt. He hosts his own live radio program, “The Rob Maaddi Show,” on 610AM Sports Radio where he covers various relevant and timely topics in an upbeat manner. A devoted Christian, Maaddi strives to make a difference and be a blessing every day. He is a missionary athlete with the GCCC Deacons Prison Ministry softball team. While there, he visits inmates and shares his testimony about his faith. Maaddi, his wife Remy and their twin girls reside in South Jersey.

Don’t miss Maaddi’s powerful and inspirational story on this special weekend. Be sure to bring your father, it’ll be a lot of fun.
