The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be continuing its Route 70 road improvement project on Tuesday night.
More road closures will take effect this week as the road improvement project on Route 70 in Cherry Hill continues.
Work is expected to continue on Tuesday night following the Memorial Day weekend. The work will cause some lane closures along Route 70. The closures will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday night.
Intermittent closures will take place at the intersections of Grove Street/Haddonfield Road, Garden Park Boulevard and Cornell Avenue. Only right turns will be permitted. No left turns or straight through vehicles will be allowed.
Two lanes closed will be closed eastbound between Cornell Avenue and Haddonfield Road.
The right lane will be closed westbound between Haddonfield Road and McClellan Avenue in Pennsauken. The right lane will be also be closed westbound between Maine Avenue and Cooper Landing Road.
The right lane and shoulder will be closed eastbound between Kings Highway and Covered Bridge Road.
New Jersey State Police will be on location during the work period. Motorists should use caution while traveling through any work areas.
