High school sports playoff update: Cherry Hill East boys volleyball falls to Kingsway

Cherry Hill West baseball had its quarterfinal game against Highland postponed on Thursday due to rain.

Cherry Hill High School East boys volleyball was knocked out of the postseason on Thursday afternoon, as the №6 seeded Cougars lost to №3 Kingsway Regional High School, 2–0.

The Dragons defeated the Cougars in a pair of tight games, 25–21 and 25–19. Cherry Hill East got a solid performance from Sidhant Subramanian, who led the team with 23 assists and 10 digs. Mike Monczewski led the team in kills with 10 and Jake Martin chipped in another six kills.

Cherry Hill West baseball has another playoff game postponed

Cherry Hill High School West baseball saw a playoff game postponed due to weather for the third time in less than a week on Thursday. The Lions scheduled South Jersey Group III quarterfinal game against Highland Regional High School was postponed due to rain. The two teams will face off at Highland this afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
