Washington Township Education Foundation hosts successful golf outing

One hundred sixteen golfers turned out in support of the 21st annual WTEF Golf Classic

The foursome of Bill Martinsen, Al Gentile, Ed Zirbser and Steve Salisbury won the 21st annual WTEF Golf Classic with a final score of 13-under-par.

One hundred sixteen golfers turned out in support of the 21st annual Washington Township Education Foundation Golf Classic on Friday, May 19, leading to another successful event for the district’s non-profit fundraising organization. A warm, sunny day and lots of great giveaways contributed to a memorable day at Wedgwood Country Club.

“We are indebted to our corporate sponsors who continue to support our efforts and whose generosity results in supplemental programs and opportunities for the kids in our district,” WTEF President Charlie Doud said. “The golf outing is successful because of the work of so many and because of these ongoing and invaluable relationships.”
