Seniors can win door prizes, receive free medical screenings and familiarize themselves with the services available through the county.
The Burlington County Sheriff’s Office will be joining the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders to host the county’s 18th annual Senior Expo on May 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Masonic Village at Burlington Fellowship Center, 1114 Oxmead Road, in Burlington Township.
According to the county, often times seniors are unaware of the programs and services available to them in Burlington County.
With the annual Senior Citizen Expo, the county seeks to brings many of those services together in one convenient location with an event that continues to grow each year.
According to the county, seniors can look forward to participating in raffles to win door prizes, receive free medical screenings and familiarize themselves with the services available to them through the county’s Office on Aging
The Expo will be held at the Masonic Village at Burlington, Fellowship Center, 1114 Oxmead Road, Burlington Township from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tote bags will be available to the first 500 seniors, and a shredding truck will also be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help resident seniors dispose of unwanted, sensitive documents.
