Fallen trooper Sean Cullen honored at fallen officers memorial service
As the sun beat down in Westampton last Wednesday, more than 100 police officers and dozens of members of the public looked on solemnly as another name was revealed on the large granite monument bearing the names of all officers from Burlington County law enforcement agencies who have died in the line of duty.
State trooper Sean Cullen, a Cinnaminson resident, passed away on March 8, 2016, after being struck by a passing vehicle while investigating a crash scene in Deptford Township. Cullen left behind a loving family including his fiancee, Aryn, and their 9-month-old son, Seamus. The couple’s second child, Conor, was born after Cullen passed.

Girl Scouts bear down on global warming
Girl Scout Troop 21129, most of which is made up of Cinnaminson fifth graders, is raising money to symbolically adopt polar bears as part of the work the girls need to earn their Bronze Awards, the highest honor Girl Scout Juniors can earn. To earn the award, the Scouts have to choose a project, come up with a plan and put the plan in motion.
Cinnaminson natives win education awards
JoAnn Natalie (Gaffin) Winch and Erica (Gaffin) Maira, Daughters of Vida and Norman Gaffin, both recently received at their respective schools. Winch was voted Teacher of the Year at Triton High School in Runnemede and Maira was voted Support Staff of the Year at Seneca High School for her role as a guidance counselor. The pair grew up in Cinnaminson.
Police investigating armed robbery at Garden State Inn
Cinnaminson Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Garden State Inn on Thursday, May 18 at approximately 10:50 p.m. The subject reportedly threatened both victims with a handgun and took their cash and cell phones. Neither victim was injured during the robbery.
