Students showcased their own compositions and made music with technology
Washington Township High School music technology students were among area student-musicians who had the opportunity to showcase their compositions as part of the seventh annual Student Music Technology Expo and Competition at Rowan University on May 12. The event highlighted the students’ creative accomplishments in making music with technology.
The Expo also provided courses in “Ableton Live,” instructed by “Ableton Live’s” Ben Casey, a mixing and mastering course taught by Mat Gendreau of Rowan engineering faculty, hands-on demonstrations of JamHub portable studios and Makey Makey assistive technology, as well as other modern music tech equipment.
