Charles Street School is holding multiple fundraisers this week to benefit Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.
Charles Street School is participating in the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania’s ‘Daisy Days’ by selling paper daisy icons through Friday, May 19. The proceeds will benefit CHOP, and the daisies, in turn, will create a display in the elementary school’s gym hallway.
Daisy Days is a month-long, community-wide show of support for the patients at CHOP. The school will also participate in CHOP’s 31-Day Challenge by holding a walk around Charles Street School at 1 p.m. on Friday.
As a part of Daisy Days, the challenge encourages participants to walk, jog or run 31, 62 or 100 miles during the month of May using the event as a platform to fundraise through donations.
Parents are welcome to attend the walk on Friday. For more information, visit http://www.palmyraschools.com/ps/CSS/ or http://31days.chop.edu/
