The 5K will take place at Virtua Hospital to raise awareness and provide strength and support for teens and young adults with cancer and other life threatening illnesses
Saturday, May 21 will be the ninth annual Victorious Run/Walk 5K to benefit hospitalized teens. Over 200 runners and walkers will participate in the 5K run or one mile walk. The course is a 5K certified course surrounding Virtua Hospital. Runners will receive Chip Timing provided by South Jersey Race Timing LLC.
The event will feature activities for the entire family. There will be awards, t-shirts, gift bags, refreshment, entertainment and more.
Registration is open to participants of all ages. Entry fees are $30 for adults, $15 for children, and children under 5 years of age are free.
Awards will be given to the top two males and top two females in seven different age groups. There will also be prizes for first overall male, first overall female and team leader with most participants.
All participants will receive a t-shirt with sponsor listing, a gift bag, refreshments and entertainment.
Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. at Virtua Hospital, and the race will begin at 10 a.m. The awards ceremony will follow at 11 a.m. A pre-race packet is availavle for pickup on Friday, May 19 from 12 to 7 p.m. at the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation, 2465 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, NJ 08043. They are located on the second level next to Boscov’s.
