Medford Township police announced they had arrested 46-year-old Tracy A Tirotti-Skahan of Shamong and charged her with Driving While Intoxicated, reckless driving and driving under the influence with a minor as the passenger.
Police said that Tuesday, April 12, at 3:30 p.m., they responded to the Pinelands Plaza on Stokes Road for a motor vehicle accident. While police were speaking with an involved driver, Mrs. Tirotti-Skahan, she was slurring her speech, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from her breath. As a result of the on scene investigation, field sobriety tests were conducted. At the conclusion of the testing and investigation, Mrs. Tirotti-Skahan was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI and later transported to the Medford Township Police Headquarters. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving under the influence with a minor as the passenger pending her court appearance.
