Evesham Police look for males suspected of stealing from shopper’s purse at T.J. Maxx

On March 18, police say two males are suspected of stealing an envelope containing tax and bank information from a customer.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On March 18, at 5:43 p.m., Evesham Police say two males entered the T.J. Maxx located at 101 South Route 73, Marlton, and stole an envelope containing tax and bank information from a customer’s purse that was shopping within the store.

According to police, one of the males distracted the shopper while the other removed the envelope from within the female’s purse.

Police say the suspect then passed the envelope under a clothing rack to the other suspect. The suspect then secured the envelope within his jacket and both males fled the store.

According to police, the two suspected were observed fleeing the area in a black colored Chevy Impala with an unknown Pennsylvania registration. It was also reported that the male suspects may have concealed merchandise from the store as well.
