For those Evesham residents looking to grow fruits and veggies this summer, Evesham Township is asking locals to consider purchasing a plot at the Evesham Community Garden.
According to the township, the Evesham Township Community Garden provides a opportunity for every resident to garden.
This year the township is again offer 25'x25' plots behind the Recreation Center at Memorial Sports Complex, with a limited number of smaller plots measuring 12.5’ x12.5’ available.
According to the township, residents can grow their own herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables, and weather permitting, each plot will be tilled prior to April 22 and will be available until October.
According to the township, a gardening season introduction meeting will be held for gardeners on April 6, at 6 p.m., at the Recreational Center, to meet and discuss details of the program.

The garden runs from April through October and is open to those ages 18 and older. Fees are $25 for a larger plot and $15 for a smaller plot.
