Evesham Township releases new rules limiting construction waste disposal at DPW yard
Evesham Township has released new rules regarding the disposal of construction debris at the Department of Public Works Yard by residents or their hired contractors. Officials say the rules come at a time when the township has observed an “unsustainable increase” in the amount of construction debris at the DPW yard from a growing number of home remodeling projects and other real estate projects in town.
‘Sunday Funday’ food truck festival returns to The Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton on April 23
On Sunday, April 23, The Promenade at Sagemore is reprising its Sunday Funday Food Truck Festival. Evesham Police Department to participate in New Jersey’s ‘UDrive, UText, UPay’ enforcement campaign
Officers from the Evesham Police Department will be cracking down on distracted drivers during April as part of New Jersey’s “UDrive, UText, UPay” enforcement campaign. Beginning April 1 and running through April 21, police say the high visibility law enforcement initiative will target motorists who engage in dangerous distracted driving behaviors such as talking on hand-held cell phones and sending text messages while driving.
Lenape Regional High School District schools to perform spring concerts
It’s that time of year when the Lenape Regional High School District’s choir, instrumental, orchestra and jazz groups have spring performances for the public. These spring shows will be taking place throughout the months of April, May and June, with residents encouraged to come see students of their local communities perform. The Seneca High School gym was full of cheering people recently as the school served as the site for the FIRST Mid-Atlantic Robotics Seneca District Competition. The competition had 37 teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The two Lenape teams were the Iron Devils Robotics Team and the Storm Robotics Team. The Iron Devils were comprised of students from both Seneca and Shawnee high schools, with the Storm comprised of students from Lenape and Cherokee.
