The first talk will take place on April 26 at the Camden County Parks Environmental Center in Cherry Hill.
Residents can learn more about tomatoes in the first Rutgers Master Gardeners of Camden County Homeowners’ series talk of 2017.
The talk will be held on Wednesday, April 26, at the Camden County Parks Environmental Center in Cherry Hill beginning at 7 p.m.
At the event, learn about tomato varieties, successful growing methods and taste differences. Nelson Valentine, Master Gardener, class of 2013, will be the speaker.
Visitors can also bring questions and plant or insect samples to the help line table. Answers will be provided from 6:30 p.m. until the program starts and after the talk until 8:30 p.m.
Sign in begins at 6:30 p.m., with the talk starting promptly at 7 p.m. Pre-registration is suggested to ensure a seat. The fee is $10 per household. Checks should be made payable to Master Gardeners of Camden County, Attention: Becki Szkotak.
