The conference will take place at Caffe Aldo Lamberti on April 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Marc LeVine, one of the country’s principal experts on corporate recruiting for more than 35 years, will be the featured speaker at the Institute for Real Estate Management’s Conference at Caffe Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill on April 12.
LeVine, corporate recruiting specialist for Edgewood Properties, will deliver his keynote engagement entitled, “There is Nothing Good About Bad Customer Service.” LeVine will explore the adverse effects that impersonal, robotic customer service practices can have on a brand’s identity and customer loyalty.
A recognized thought leader in corporate recruiting and marketing, LeVine will investigate the overall shift in the paradigm in recent years to a bureaucratic and mechanical customer service model that integrates or relies heavily on offshore call centers; and complicated telephone switchboards; and favors robotic, scripted responses and diffusion of responsibility; aggressive sales techniques such as cross selling and upselling; and bait-and-switch sales tactics.
He will discuss the need for corporations to reconsider this approach, instead advocating for filling customer service-oriented roles with quality employees that are more keen to put customers first, providing them with a superior experience each time that nurtures customer as well as employee retention.
The IREM Conference will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a networking mixer session. Dinner and the program will follow at 6:30 p.m.
The cost to attend is $65 for IREM members and $75 for non-members. For more information, visit IREM’s Southern New Jersey Chapter №101 official website, www.irem101.org or call (856) 829–8939.
