‘Vanity Collectibles & Memorabilia of Historic Hollywood’ will detail the cosmetic and toiletry items made popular by early Hollywood screen legends.
Partnered with the Historical Society of Riverton (HSR), the Vanity Collectibles & Memorabilia of Historic Hollywood talk held at the Riverton Free Library will discuss men’s and women’s cosmetics and toiletry items made popular by early Hollywood Regency Screen Legends.
Attendees will learn about hair concoctions, unusual grooming implements as well as toxic potions and powders that have since been banned. The talk will also focus on immigrants who became famous for their brands of cosmetics such as Max Factor and Helens Rubenstein.”
