Evesham Police suspect duo used distraction to steal from register at Burlington Coat Factory

Police say the scam consisted of one female suspect distracting a cashier while the other suspect stole money from the register.

The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On March 4, Evesham Police say the two females in the accompanying surveillance photographs are suspected of conducting a distraction scam at the Burlington Coat Factory, 229 S. Route 73, to steal $1,120 from a register.

Police say the scam consisted of one female distracting a cashier while the other stole money from the register.

According to police, the same pair are suspected of carrying out the same scam at several Burlington Coat Factory stores throughout the state.
