This event is designed to further unify the community.
In an effort to further unify the community, residents are invited to join in a multi-cultural Unity Panel Discussion about the themes of the show Hairspray, Jr., as well as some of the unfortunate racially based events in the news lately, on Saturday, March 18 at 4:30 p.m. at the William Allen Middle School.
At this event, there will be a panel discussion on anti-discrimination, moderated by local 6abc’s news anchor Rick Williams, and all members of the community are to come listen and join in the celebration of diversity in Moorestown and the commonalities residents share — regardless of personal heritage.
Unity panelists scheduled to participate will include people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds who will take questions from the audience and share their perspectives.
Attendees for the Unity Panel Discussion must be ticket holders to one of the Hairspray, Jr. performances that day; either the 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. show. Tickets are available online at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door.
