It Takes a Village NJ in need of volunteers

This organization works to help the elderly, the disabled of any age and returning vets to live safely and comfortably in their homes.

The volunteer organization, It Takes a Village NJ, is in urgent need of volunteers. These volunteers are asked to give as little as one hour per work of their valuable time to help someone in need.

The purpose of this organization is to help the elderly, the disabled of any age and returning vets to live safely and comfortably in their homes at no charge. Volunteers needed include young moms who can shop for the home-bound, and those whoe background includes social work, information technology and administration.

One-hour orientation sessions take place every month at 7 p.m.at Long and Foster Real Estate Office, located at the corner of Route 38W and Church Street.

Its services cover the following additional areas: Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Mapel Shafe and Mt Laurel.
