Visitors can join a professional genealogist to learn how to search for their female ancestors.
On March 21, locals can visit the Evesham Library at 1 p.m. to join a professional genealogist to learn how to search for their female ancestors.
Genealogist Loretta Bonaccorso will present at the event. Bonaccorso has been conducting genealogical research for more than 30 years as ‘fee for service’ and on a voluntary basis.
Some of her time has been spent volunteering at the local LDS genealogical library, teaching senior citizens to perform research online, giving public genealogy workshops and seminars.
Goals of this seminar include:
- Locating and understanding the records
- Indirect vs direct evidence
- Evaluating indirect evidence: connecting clues
- Organizing data
- Break through brick walls to research: rethinking strategy
- Resources (handouts included)
