Superior Court of New Jersey pushes back referendum due to upcoming storm
The Special School Election for Shamong residents in regards to the bond referendum has been rescheduled due to the upcoming snowstorm. The election has been rescheduled for March 28, 2017. The Superior Court of New Jersey in Burlington County granted the Shamong Township Board of Education “emergent relief” as a result of impending extreme weather conditions. The district is looking to make improvements and repairs on district properties.
