The Shawnee High School boys basketball team earned the title of South Jersey Group IV Champions on Tuesday, March 7. Shawnee defeated Toms River North by a score of 76-72 in triple overtime.
Shawnee high-scorers included: Dylan Deveney 31, Dean Noll 19, Sean Heine 12, Pat Kernan 6, Connor Deveney 4, Daevon Robinson 2, Kane Feudtner 2.
The school wishes to congratulate the team on a great job and the Shawnee students for bringing positive energy the entire game.
Next, the state semifinal game vs. Hunterdon Central on will take place today at 5:30 p.m. at Egg Harbor Township High School.
