Library to hold Comic Jam event on NJ Makers Day

The workshop will allow participants to create their own comic book

Celebrate New Jersey Makers Day at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library on Saturday, March 25 from noon to 4 p.m. at the library’s largest Comic Jam ever.

A comic workshop will be set up all afternoon to learn how to make your very own comic book. Materials, guides and brainstorm activities will be available. Books will be created at the end of the program, compiling everyone’s work and can be picked up at the end of the program, or at a later date.

Comic Jam is open to everyone — children and adults. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is necessary.

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library is located at 606 Delsea Drive. Visit www.hegganlibrary.org, or call the library at (856) 589–3334, for more information.
