B. Bernice Young Elementary School hosts Spring Fling event

The Young School Family Association will be holding a Spring Fling dinner and basket raffle on Friday, March 24. This is the fourth annual Spring Fling, and event chair Robin Stoner says she is expecting a turnout of at least 300 people.

The event will take place at The Merion on Route 130 in Cinnaminson from 7 p.m. to midnight, with the basket drawing at 9 p.m.

Stoner says the first two hours of the event are spent eating, socializing and placing tickets. Drawing and announcing the raffle winners typically takes around two hours, and the last hour of the event is for more socializing and dancing.

“The Spring Fling is one of the largest fundraisers for our township school foundation,” Stoner said. “It’s a fun night out with a chance to win some great prizes while supporting the children of Burlington Township.”

All money raised will benefit Burlington Township students. In the past, funds have been used to offset the cost of field trips, purchase playground equipment and equip a school computer lab.

Tickets are $30 each, and the deadline to order tickets is March 17. The price includes a full dinner buffet, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages with a cash bar available. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.

To order tickets or for more information, contact Stoner at rstoner26@gmail.com. This event is for ages 21 years and older.
