Moorestown Township Police Department: Weekly Police Reports

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department.

On Thursday, March 2, a resident of Farmdale Road reported that their unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and a bag of Barnes & Nobles books was taken along with the receipt. Barnes & Nobles contacted the victim when unknown subjects attempted to return the books. Recovered items were returned to the victim.

On Tuesday, Feb. 28, Old Navy reported that a subject took a ball cap into the dressing room, took the tag off and placed it on his head then put his sweatshirt hood on and went to the register to pay for other clothing. The cost of the cap was $12. Old Navy did not wish to sign complaints, but advised the subject that he was no longer permitted in store.

On Monday, Feb. 27, a victim reported the theft of a purse from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway on St Anthony’s Dr. The vehicle was entered on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The purse contained a wallet, assorted cards and identification, $40 in cash and an iPhone charger. The purse was recovered in the woods behind residence with contents missing.
