WTHS Junior ROTC members joined students at Birches Elementary School to open Read Across America Week
The cadets of the Washington Township High School Junior Air Force ROTC answered the call to action on Monday as they dispersed around the district to share books with elementary students to kick off Read Across America activities.
The younger students had lots of questions about their uniforms and the things that the cadets do in the program, and then settled in to enjoy the readings of several Dr. Seuss classics.
