Families produced more than 50 blankets throughout the evening for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
On Feb. 7, Marlton Elementary School held its second “Community Give Back” event of the year.
Students and their families partnered with Cherokee High School National Honor Society volunteers to make fleece blankets for local individuals battling cancer.
The nonprofit Cozies for Chemo, started by Mt. Laurel resident Meghan Vizzard, was set to then distribute the blankets to patients.
The group at Marlton Elementary produced more than 50 blankets throughout the evening.
