Cherry Hill Township and the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey will present the class at the Croft Farm Arts Center on Feb. 25.
Cherry Hill Township and the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey are teaming up to host a master class featuring cellist Joshua Roman.
The class will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Croft Farm Arts Center beginning at 1 p.m. Roman will lead the class with three local cellists. The event is free to attend.
Cellist Joshua Roman was named principal cello of the Seattle Symphony at age 22, and after two seasons, he embarked on a solo career that has taken him to such world class orchestras as the Pittsburgh Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony, Moscow State Symphony and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. He is a senior TED fellow, and his November 2016 Facebook online performance of the complete Bach Suites for cello has been viewed by more than one million people.
