Police say a male stopped his vehicle near two girls, ages 10 and 13, and asked if they needed a ride before driving off.

On Jan. 23, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Evesham Police say two females, ages 10 and 13, were walking home from Van Zant Elementary School when they were approached by an unknown Hispanic male with short black hair in his 30s-40s and wearing glasses.
Police say the male stopped his vehicle next to the girls and asked if they needed a ride. According to police, once the 13-year-old girl looked at the male, he stated, “Oh, never mind” and drove away. The male was operating a silver minivan.
According to police this incident does not rise to the level of a luring attempt, but due to the unknown intentions of the male police say they are distributing the event in the interest of public safety.
