Kids are invited to take the Winter Reading Challenge by playing online or picking up a game board to participate.
The Burlington County Library System is inviting kids to fight cabin fever this February by taking the BCLS Winter Reading Challenge and completing 28 activities.
Designed for children ages 11 and under, the Winter Reading Challenge will run from Feb. 1 to Feb. 28.
To participate, kids need simply pick up a game board at any BCLS branch, or play online using Beanstack, the activity tracker available on the library’s website.
The program encourages children to spend the month tackling a variety of tasks, such as attending a library program, dancing to a favorite song, high-fiving a librarian, and reading just for fun.
Kids who complete all 28 activities and turn in their game boards by March 1 will be entered to win a special grand prize awarded at each library branch.
