Arrest made in Washington Township Lowes robbery

A Glassboro man, charged with second-degree robbery was arrested as a fugitive, having failed to appear in court.

The Fugitive Investigations Unit of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office arrested a Glassboro man charged with second-degree robbery as a fugitive on Jan. 12, having failed to appear on the charges the previous day in Central Judicial Processing Court.

FIU officers arrested Roy J. Deschler without incident at his Glassboro residence. Deschler is charged with robbery by pushing a loss prevention officer at Washington Township Lowe’s store in the course of committing a theft. He was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department and was to be held without bail.
