Gloucester County Animal Shelter will be participating in National Adoption Weekend at PetSmart in Turnersville.
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter will be participating in four PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Weekend events throughout the year.
“The Gloucester County Animal Shelter is thrilled to be working with PetSmart Charities to bring these pet adoption weekends to Gloucester County residents. They help make adoption more accessible, especially to people who work during the week,” Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said.
“Adoption weekends are the perfect opportunity for families to find and adopt their forever friend. These weekends help extend our adoption hours and promote animal adoption through the Shelter,” Freeholder Dan Christy, liaison to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, said.
National Adoption Weekends are the weekends of Feb. 17 to 19, May 5 to 7, Sept. 15 to 17 and Nov. 10 to 12 at the PetSmart in Turnersville, NJ.
If you don’t want to wait for an adoption weekend, the Gloucester County Animal Shelter is open for adoptions Monday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. The GCAS is also open Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
