Free Rabies Clinic Set For Jan. 14

The clinic, for dogs and cats, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.

Moorestown will be holding its annual rabies clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Public Works Garage, located at 601 East Third Street. A snow date for the event will be Saturday, Jan. 21.

At the clinic, licenses will be sold, but payment will only be accepted by check — no cash.

All dog licenses expire on Jan. 31 of each year and must be renewed by then. Residents may obtain a 2017 license by mail (preferred) or in person at the Municipal Clerk’s Office within the Town Hall, located at 111 West Second Street. Proof of rabies inoculation, which is valid through October 2017, proof of spaying/neutering, if applicable, and a check for the appropriate amount, made payable to Moorestown Township, must accompany the application.

Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if applying by mail. Dog license renewal applications and payment must be postmarked by Tuesday, Jan. 31. Renewals received that are not postmarked by this date will incur a late fee for each license. So, please, make every effort to renew your dog license by then.
