Hotel fire alarm leads to arrest of man with outstanding warrents in latest Mt Laurel Police Report

Other recent reports include a man running from a taxi driver while failing to pay his $57 fare.

At 2:03 a.m. on Dec. 10, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Fellowship Road for a fire alarm activation. During the investigation it was discovered that the hotel guest had outstanding arrest warrants. George H. Beale, age 42, of Sewell, physically resisted being arrested. He was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest. He was released pending a court hearing after satisfying his warrants.

At 1 p.m. on Dec. 11 Mt. Laurel Police responded to Ulta on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting report. Two female suspects stole $70 worth of perfume. They fled when confronted by store employees.

Between midnight and 6 a.m. on Dec. 11, eleven vehicles were spray painted with gold paint in the Stone Gate development. The vehicles were parked along Watson Drive, Vassar Road, Farmhouse Lane, Ann Drive and Longbridge Drive.

A residence on the first block of Compass Circle was burglarized between 1:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 10th. Entry was gained by breaking the rear glass sliding door. Jewelry was taken.

At 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 10, a resident of the first block of Gardenia Drive saw two men attempting to break into his car. He yelled out at the suspects who then fled. Minor damage was done to the vehicle.

A resident of the 500 block of South Church Street reported that tools were stolen from an unlocked trailer that was parked in his driveway between Nov. 26 and Dec. 10.

A resident of the 1200 block of Harwood Court reported a package was stolen from their front porch between noon and 4 p.m. on Dec. 9.

At 10:09 p.m. on Dec. 9, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near Church Road. During the stop officers arrested Miguel J. Latorre-Gonzalez, age 22, of Philadelphia. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.

A resident of the 100 block of Haines Road reported that on Dec. 1 a repairman came to his house to repair a clothes dryer. The repairman asked for $499 for the repair and would only take a check. Since the check cleared no one from the company will return his call and the appliance has not been repaired.

At 4:43 p.m. on Dec. 8, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Wegman’s on Centerton Road for a shoplifting compliant. The investigation led to the arrest of Louis F. Ruskey, age 30, of Haddonfield. He was charged with shoplifting after attempting to steal $270 worth personal hygiene items. He was released pending a court hearing.

A resident of the first block of Sternlight Drive reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole credit cards during the overnight hours of Dec. 7 into Dec. 8.

In August Mt. Laurel Police began an investigation into two fraudulent credit card transactions made at Wegman’s on Centerton Road. The investigation resulted in the identification of the suspect and an arrest warrant was issued. On Dec. 6 Tyrrel M. McIntosh, age 23, of Cambria Heights, NY was arrested by another law enforcement agency and turned over to Mt. Laurel Police. He was charged with credit card fraud and theft. Bail was set at $30,000 with a 10 percent option and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

A resident of the 1200 block of Harwood Court reported that between 2:25 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 5, a package that had been delivered and left by the front door of the residence was stolen.

A victim staying at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 reported that a computer tablet, a coat, and various other items were stolen from his room between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Dec. 6.

A resident of the first block of Forrest Court reported money was stolen from an unlocked car during the overnight hours of Dec. 5th into Dec. 6.

A victim staying at a hotel on Diemer Drive reported that jewelry was stolen from her room sometime between Dec. 2 and Dec. 5.

At 12:25 p.m. on Dec. 5, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a room at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 to check on the wellbeing of a guest. During the investigation officers observed drugs and drug paraphernalia in the room. Adonna T. Rowe, age 28, of Cherry Hill, was arrested and charged with possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.

Between Dec. 3 and Dec. 5, someone stole all four tires off of a BMW M3 that was parked in the service parking lot of the Mini of Mount Laurel car dealership on Route 73.

At 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 4, a taxi driver from Philadelphia took a passenger from the city to the corner of Route 73 and Ramblewood Parkway. On arrival the passenger fled from the taxi failing to pay the $57 fare. The suspect was last seen running behind the Parkway School. He was described as a male, approximately 5’8, wearing a black jacket.

A victim reported that she accidentally left her wallet in the dining area of Chick Fil A on Nixon Drive at 4:35 p.m. on Dec. 1. When she returned a short time later the wallet was gone.
