The “Doggone Good Read” event is this Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 3:15 p.m.
Children are welcome to come into the library and read with a trained therapy dog. Each child will have 15 minutes to read to Springer. An adult must remain present in the room with Springer and his trainer during the reading session. Readers are encouraged to come early for their session. Signups will begin at 3:15 on a first come, first services basis.
Children will be exposed to the dogs being used as therapy dogs and may have direct contact with them. All the dogs are certified therapy dogs and have compiled with the necessary paperwork regarding immunizations.
