Santa’s Claus will soon be coming back to town, this week the police and fire departments worked together to identify and arrest a suspected arsonist, and the Evesham Education Foundation’s big Wine, Dine and Win fundraiser is already selling tickets. Santa Claus to ride throughout Evesham on firetruck on Dec. 17

On Dec. 17 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m, Santa Claus will be out in Evesham on Evesham-Fire Rescue’s own bright red “reindeer.” Due to the size of the town, officials cannot predict when Santa will be in a specific neighborhood, but resident’s can track Santa through a webiste.

Evesham Education Foundation to host Wine, Dine and Win fundraiser on Feb. 3

The Evesham Education Foundation is set to host its annual Wine, Dine and Win fundraiser on Feb. 3. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now. The annual event features “fabulous food” and “casino fun” by allowing guests to sample fine wines, taste fancy food, win prizes and have fun with friends and family.

Marlton resident Giana Carroll is set to perform in South Jersey Ballet Theatre’s production of “The Nutcracker.” Carroll will perform the roles of the Snow Queen and Dew Drop Fairy, with shows debuting Dec. 16 at Voorhees Middle School.

Evesham Police and Fire Departments work together to identify and arrest suspected arsonist

On Dec. 6, through cooperation between the fire and police departments, suspect Kimberly Gontowski of Marlton was arrested in relation to an apartment fire incident on Nov. 21 at Alison Apartments. Gontowski, age 30, of Marlton, was charged with second-degree arson and third-degree burglary.

Evesham Police name officer Dave Petersen as ‘Officer of the Month’ for November

The Evesham Police department has named officer Dave Petersen as ‘Officer of the Month’ for November. Petersen has been a member of the Evesham Police Department for 11 years. Read how police say Petersen was commended for his proactive approach in removing hazardous subjects from the roadways, investigative skills and commitment to making the township a safer place.
