Sprit week took place at Palmyra High School from Nov. 14 to Nov. 18
Palmyra High School’s Junior Student Council sponsored Spirit Week from Nov. 14 to Nov. 18. Spirit Week is a week of friendly competition between the seventh and eighth grade classes to compete for the title of “Most Spirited.”
This year’s theme was City Spotlight. Student council members created banners for their teams depicting the cities of Rio de Janeiro, New York City, London, and New Orleans.
Students collected points for their teams by dressing up for theme days, bringing donations for the Bread of Life Food Pantry, finding hidden panther paws, getting good grades on tests and quizzes, and competing in the Spirit Games.
The week was topped off with middle school students from Palmyra and Riverton attending the Spirit Dance.
