Former Sgt. Frank Rooney passed away on Dec. 5
Retired Cinnaminson Police Department Sgt. Frank Rooney died unexpectedly on Dec. 5, the police department announced. Rooney was 50 years old.
Rooney served 28 years in law enforcement and was respected throughout the Cinnaminson community. Rooney leaves behind his wife, Jill, and their six children.
The Cinnaminson Police Department has set up a GoFundMe page to assist Rooney’s family with funeral expenses and other financial hardships. Donations can also be made by checks payable to the Cinnaminson Police Department and by writing “The Frank Rooney Fund” in the memo section. Community members will also have the opportunity to donate at Breakfast with Santa this Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Merion.
